1. Services and billing

Services are provided by Sage & Grey Studio. Billing, invoicing, and contracts for those services are handled by Sage & Grey Advisors, the parent entity.

By engaging the Studio, you agree to the written quote and any statement of work provided before the project begins.

2. Flat-rate pricing

Every service is offered at a one-time flat rate, quoted in writing before work begins. The written quote is the price you pay for the described work — there is no hourly billing and no additional charges beyond the quote.

Each service is a separate flat charge: the website build and publishing, the domain name setup, the business email setup, and any additional services are each priced on their own.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they are issued.

3. Website design, build, and publishing

The website service covers the design and build of a starter website with the core pages described in your quote (typically home, about, services, and contact), copywriting for those pages, setup of website hosting in your name, and publishing the site.

The scope of the build — number of pages, features, and content — is described in your written quote. Work beyond that scope is quoted separately before it is started.

The Studio does not offer e-commerce, custom web applications, or other complex custom functionality. Websites built by the Studio are clean, professional starter websites.

4. Domain names — ownership and renewal

The domain is registered in your name, and once you pay for it, it belongs to your business. The Studio claims no ownership of your domain.

Yearly renewal fees for the domain are paid by you directly to the domain registrar. The Studio adds no markup to these costs.

If a domain renewal is not paid, the registrar may release the domain. Keeping your registrar account and payment details current is your responsibility.

5. Hosting and email costs

Website hosting and email subscription costs depend on the providers chosen. These ongoing costs are paid by you directly to the providers.

The Studio charges only for setup work and adds nothing to third-party prices.

6. Handover

At the end of the project, you receive all logins for the domain, hosting, website, and email accounts. From that point on, you own and manage everything yourself. Nothing stays tied to the Studio.

7. Optional services

After handover, the Studio can make changes to your domain settings, assist with website updates, or help transfer your domain or hosting to another provider. This work is available for a flat fee, charged per year or per request, and quoted before the work is done.

8. HIPAA-ready email and BAA

For medical and dental practices that handle patient information, the Studio can set up compliant email, including the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with the email provider.

The BAA is an agreement between you and the email provider. The Studio configures the email service and the agreement paperwork as part of setup, and is not itself a party to that agreement.

9. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing the information, images, and approvals needed to complete your project in a reasonable time, and for keeping the accounts created in your name in good standing after handover.
